1st ICAS Assessment Conference in Malaysia

Educational Assessment and Testing Services, Malaysia (EATS) in collaboration with the University of New South Wales (Global) are proud to invite educational institutions and educators to a one day seminar on ICAS assessments.

The conference highlights key concepts and trends in educational assessment. Through their extensive experience at UNSW, the speakers seek to share their expertise on assessment strategies, analytical methods and data interpretation, and a framework on learning intervention in schools. Every educator who wants to know how to accurately assess or benchmark and track student performance across academic years should attend this special event.

Participants will also be encouraged to share their experiences and work towards constructing assessment strategies for their own institutions and needs. Register TODAY!

Dr. Kelvin Gregory

Professor Kelvin Gregory is a highly experienced psychometrician and assessment expert with adjunct professional status with UNSW’s School of Education. He has worked on assessment-focused projects ranging from individual teacher and classroom action research projects through to state, national and international policy-focused studies. He has taught at all university levels, focusing primarily upon masters and doctoral programs where he taught research methods, statistics, psychometrics and assessment courses. Professor Gregory has extensive experience supervising research students and mentoring university staff. Prior to his university career, Professor Gregory was a successful high school teacher and school administrator. Professor Gregory leads the development of high-quality assessments at UNSW-Global Assessment.

Alyson manages a product portfolio of school assessments at UNSW Global. With over twenty years in diverse marketing roles in the training and education sectors, Alyson is dedicated to developing products that meet the needs of customers and helping them make the best use of the support services on offer.

Alyson is currently completing a Masters of Learning Sciences and Technology at the University of Sydney. Her other qualification include a Master of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and Psychology.
